About the team
Team formed in the late 1940s.
The track was chalk & cinder, and was based below Zig-Zag Hill on land owned by Major Sampson.
Raced in the North Dorset League in the 1950s.
Spectators, often numbering over 200, watched the racing from the "Cliff".
A Lorry with side benches in the back was used to get riders to away matches, the first one belonging to Ernie Ryall, and a later one by Stan Brickell.
Post race meetings were held in a private room at the "Glyn Arms".
