Club Secretary: John Leith, 64 Tonbridge Road, Whitley, Coventry.

John Leith was also the editor of the Cycle Speedway Gazette in the 1950s/60s.

Unfortunately, Brian Doubleday lost a leg after a road accident.

Individual Honours.

1988 Ray Oliver(15) won the World Individual Championship at Adams Oval, Salisbury, South Australia, runner up Danny Zagni(15) Ipswich, 3rd Martin Gale(14) Poole after a run-off with John Kempen(Australia), Glyn Whale(East London), Dave Frith(Whitley) and Andy Barnes(Poole).
