About the team
Track was on the Yardley Recreation Ground behind the pub. Built where there used to be tennis courts.
Reg Brown, father of Dudley Brown, was one of the instigaters in building the new track. Two others involved were George Dunkley & Fred Kightley.
Yardley is on the outskirts of Northampton, situated on the A5.
Joined the Northants League 1952.
Team Manager: Mr George Dunkley.
Team Honours.
1952 League Champions, runners up Abbotts Way Tigers.
1952 won the "Chronicle & Echo" Trophy plus the "Blind" Cup.
