About the team

The track was on land owned by the Coal Board in Sideway, Stoke-on-Trent.

The name of the club came from the cliff that the track was situated on.

Raced from the late fifties to the end of 1965, the last three years riding at The Croft, Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent.

One of the most successful teams of the time in Stoke.

Club colours were a black eagle on a red sash, this being on a white background.

Club Manager: Rex Leverett.

Club Secretary: Peter Smith, 2 Stanley Road, Basford, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs(1964).

Club Secretary: P. Rushton, 30 Blurton Road, Heron Cross, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs(1965).
