About the team

Team were formed in the late 40s(possibly 1947).

Moved in 1949 to a track in Wyndham Road, Camberwell SE5, sharing this with Peckham Stars.

This track was floodlit, as well as having electric starting gates.

This team ceased racing in 1952,

Started up again in 1954, with a new track built on the Tennis Courts of a derelict house overlooking Streatham Common.

Raced in the First Round of the "World" Cup in 1949, losing 67.5 - 28.5 to Peckham Stars in the 1st leg.

Raced in South East London League 1950.

Raced in County of London League 1952.

Raced in Southern Premier League Div 1 1953.

Raced in South London League 1955.

The 1950 feature length black & White Film "Skid Kids" was filmed here using Ruskin & Peckham riders for the action shots.
