About the team

1st Track was in Euston Gardens, Euston Square(moved off this by the Council).

2nd Track was in Camden Town, next to the Bedford Theatre(an old bomb site). Moved off this due to development.

3rd Track was in Clarence Way off of Kentish Town Road. Stayed here until they disbanded.

Raced in the North London League 1948/49.

Raced in the First Round of the "World" Cup in 1949, losing 48.5 - 43.5 to Teddington Tigers(Middlesex) in the 1st leg.

Facts.

Dennis Bottazzi was one of the greats in 1949. International Grand Prix winner, top scorer for London versus Middlesex, top again for England at Rayleigh. Known for his sportsmanship and clean riding, he would often sacrifice his own personal points to shepherd home a less experienced team mate. A true gentleman of the sport.

Tom Sweetman rode for California - Rye House - Wimbledon - Exeter - Wolverhampton - Hackney - New Cross - Aldershot - Southern Rovers - Rayleigh - Norwich - Oxford - Chiswick - Coventry and Swindon.
