This was a Dagenham based team who started racing in the late 1940s.

Raced in the First Round of the "World" Cup in 1949, beating Honor Oak Aces(London South East) 51.5 - 44.5 in the 1st leg. Top Scorer: Terry Coell 13.5.

Facts.

In 1949 Terry Coell had shot to the forefront of Cycle Speedway in no uncertain manner. After his victory in the London Grand Prix, Terry was given the captaincy of the Essex/Herts Test Team and played a captain's role in scoring 10 points. Almost unbeatable on his home track, he was also a great team man, and encourages his team mates 100%.

Individual Honours.

1949 Terry Coell won the All London Grand Prix at Stratford Hammers track.
